The GenBank sequence database is an open access, annotated collection of all publicly available nucleotide sequences and their protein translations. GenBank and its collaborators receive sequences produced in laboratories throughout the world from more than 100,000 distinct organisms. GenBank has become an important database for research in biological fields and has grown in recent years at an exponential rate by doubling roughly every 18 months.

Use the widget below to access the data in this database. Use the filter in the top right corner to narrow down the results. Once you have found the item you need, simply select it and the directory path will be copied to your clipboard. Paste the path in your submission scripts to use in your analysis.
