New Compute Nodes Now Available on Discovery

We’d like to announce the installation of 89 new compute nodes on the Discovery cluster, as well as 33 new compute nodes on the Endeavour condo cluster. The new nodes on Discovery include A100 and A40 GPU nodes and large memory nodes for your use.
The new compute nodes on Discovery are distributed as follows:
New nodes in the gpu partition:
12 Dual A100 GPUs, Dual 32-core EPYC 7513 with 256 GB memory
12 Dual A40 GPUs, Dual 16-core EPYC 7282 with 256 GB memory
New nodes in the epyc-64 partition:
61 Dual 32-core EPYC 7513 with 256 GB memory
New nodes in the largemem partition:
4 Dual 32-core EPYC 7513 with 1 TB memory
